A’pieu x Yoon Charmi ~ Sweet and Charming Spring Makeup Look April 21, 2017 – Posted in: Beauty Blog

Spring is definitely here in Seoul, and the Cherry Blossoms seem to have inspired many people to refresh their makeup looks with pink shades and bright skin. Today I’m going to show the kind of look I enjoy wearing in Spring, inspired by a few products from the A’pieu x Yoon Charmi range.

But who is Yoon Charmi?

If you don’t speak any Korean it might be hard for you to make sense of her videos, but Yoon Charmi is a well know Korean Youtuber. A while ago she collaborated with A’Pieu to create her own range of products. They’re pretty affordable and come in cute pink and blue packaging, and today I have the Air-Fit BB Cushion and two of the lip tints to test out and show you.

Air-Fit BB Cushion~

This cushion contains no oils, so claims to help with sebum control and make sure your base makeup is long lasting. I think it will be a very good option during the summer. It comes in three colours and has a satin-like finish. I actually really like the coverage and finish of this product, and it definitely does last all day even without powder. This cushion also comes with a refill and a spare puff, so it’s really great value for money!

You can get hold of this cushion for just $14.00 on KAYGAL.com

Forever Gel Lip Tints ~

I also got to try two of the forever gel lip tints, in the colours RD02 (left) and VL01 (right). There is nothing particularly unusual or special about these lip tints, but they are long lasting and very pigmented. So doing a full lip with them is a little tricky due to the high pigment, but they work very nicely for gradient lips! They also have quite a pleasant scent which is always nice~

Available on KAYGAL for $9.00 each

Here’s the look I came up with, just changing up the lip colours to show how it looks on the lips. I personally really like the RD02 colour on me, although it doesn’t scream spring. I used Etude House eyeshadows on my eyes, using a combination of dusty pink and brown so it’s not too crazy but reminds me a little of the cherry blossoms~ I also thinned out my eyeliner a bit for a softer, girly look!
